Drive to wine region — Kakheti. Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns in Kakheti. It was built 790 meters above the sea level. Georgians often call Sighnaghi ‘the city of love’ due to its charm and romance. Narrow cobblestone streets, beautiful balconies, and vine-covered courtyards, make Sighnaghi into one of Kakheti’s main attractions. In the city, you will attend wine degustation in the local winery. Next destination will be Bodbe Convent, located 2 km south of Sighnaghi. Bodbe Convent is dedicated to St. Nino, who is buried there. The little church was originally built in the 4th century.. The tour will end by the drive back to Tbilisi.
