Classic Tour in Georgia (9 nights 10 days)

• Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, where you will meet GNT representative and take you to the hotel.
• After a short time off, you are waiting for a dinner in Georgian traditional restaurant with Georgian national dances.
• Overnight in Tbilisi’s comfortable hotel.

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• We visit the old Metekhi fortress and then the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, which was founded in the 5th century by the city of Tbilisi.
• We will continue our way through the ropeway, that will bring us to Narikala Fortress. From Narikala you will be able to enjoy the magnificent view of Old Tbilisi.
• We come from Narikala to Peace Bridge and pass through narrow streets to Chardin and Erekle Square, where there are plenty of shops and cafes. In the same way we will go to the synagogue to Abanotubani, where the only mosque in the world, where shouts and saints pray together.
• Then we will visit the Ethnographic Museum of Georgia, located in the open air.

• Then we will go to Georgia’s oldest capital city of Mtskheta. We will see the Jvari Monastery (which is built in the 6th century) from which we will see the beautiful panorama of the city of Mtskheta and we also see the merging of the river Mtkvari and the river Aragvi.
• The next stop is Svetitskhoveli. The church is built in the 10th century, in the place of the First Christian Cathedral, which is named Second Jerusalem, where Christ’s robe is kept.
• Then we go on the way to Gori, in the cave town of Uplistsikhe, where people lived 4000-5000 years ago.
• If you wish, we will stay in Gori and visit Stalin’s museum.

Then we will arrive in Borjomi where you will stay in the hotel.

• We will go to Borjomi Park where you will see the park and taste the mineral waters, then we will walk through the rope, from where you can see a beautiful panorama over the Borjomi park.
• We will travel to the city of Akhaltsikhe, where we will visit the medieval fortress of Rabati fortress.
• Then we will see Vardzia in a rocky town where the monastery was old.
• After that we return to the center of Borjomi. Overnight in Borjomi hotel.

• Then we go to Kutaisi direction. We will visit the Bagrati Cathedral (built in the 11th century) which is included in UNESCO list.
• Then we will see Prometheus Cave, where beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, fountains, waterfalls and stone curtains have been created. In the evening you are supper, real Imeretian cuisine and Imeretian wine.
• Overnight in Kutaisi hotel.

• Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will go to Martvili.
• Martvili Canyon – this is a natural monument with a length of 2400 meters, where the old natural bridges and waterfalls, whose height is 10-15 meters.
• Then we will see the Okatse canyon.
• Its uniqueness lies in the fact that you can enjoy it with the view from below, as well as from below. We will walk on the suspension bridge, whose length is 780 meters.
• Return to Tbilisi and stay in the hotel.

• Then we will continue our journey in Tsinandali. We will visit the museum of famous Georgian poet and public figure Alexander Chavchavadze. We also see a cellar where I kept the 19th – 20th century installed a 16000 bottle of wine.
• Return to Tbilisi.

• We will go to Kazbegi, which is located 180 kilometers from Tbilisi. On the way we will visit the Ananuri fortress, located on the Aragvi coast, on the background of Zhinvali water reservoir, from where the beautiful view is visible.
• The next stop will be a mountain ski resort Gudauri. It is located at 2000 meters above sea level. The ski season usually lasts from December to April.
• From Gudauri we will take a path towards Stepantsminda, from where we will go to Gergeti Trinity Jeep-excursion. The Gergeti Trinity is dating back to the 14th century, with a beautiful view of the glacier on the highest snow glacier in eastern Georgia (5047 meters above sea level).
• Then we will go to the Dariali Gorge, which follows the Russian border.
• The tour ends in Tbilisi.
