Caucasus mountain adventures tour includes two historical provinces of Georgia in Mtskheta-Tianeti region – Khevi also better knows as Kazbegi, there we will hike to picturesque Gergeti trinity church, stay in Juta to prepare for trekking and enjoy Chaukhi mountain view. Next day will be challenge trekking through Chaukhi mountain range and fantastic Abudelauri colorful lakes and Khevsureti, with famous village Shatili. Tour includes cultural sight seeings, trekking, rafting, and can be added horse ridding also.

Day 1 - Tbilisi

Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, where you will meet GNT representative and take you to the hotel.
After a short time off, you are waiting for a dinner in Georgian traditional restaurant with Georgian national dances.
Overnight in Tbilisi’s comfortable hotel.

Day 2 - Stepantsminda

Kazbegi is the most popular and frequently visited mountain area of Georgia, it is only 3 hours to drive from the capital – Tbilisi. Most tourists are coming here only for one day and return to Tbilisi in the evening, without exploring narrow mountain valleys deeply. Road, which connects Kazbegi with Tbilisi is known as Georgian military road, name given to the path during Russian empire rule. On the way we will stop to visit Ananuri fortress, stronghold of Aragvi gorge.
The highest point of the road is Cross pass on the main Caucasus range, altitude 2395m, here is cemetery of German war prisoners from times of WWII. Very close from the pass is mineral water source. In Kazbegi gorge can be seen several survived signaling towers.
Trek to Gergeti mount starts in village Gergeti, just next from town Kazbegi. Starting altitude is around 1500 m and Gergeti trinity churchstands on altitude 2100 m. above the sea level. Difficulty of trek is easy. After lunch brake will be one more very easy trek to Gveleti waterfallnear Russian border. By evening transfer to village Juta and hike to Camping above the village. Here will be dinner and good rest before next day challenging hike.

День 3 - Abudelauri lake

Challenge trekking day through Chaukhi mountains. After good breakfast trek starts in amazing Chaukhi valley. Soon pass will be approached. Starting point is 2200m and maximal altitude is 3300 m above the sea level. On the other side of the rocky mountains are located three beautiful lakes – white, just in bottom of glacier, blue and green, these lakes are called Abudelauri lakes. Overnight in village Roshka guesthouse, where good dinner will be served.

This day will be more relaxed then previous. After breakfast jeep tour to Datvijvari pass, on the main Caucasus range. Visit abandoned villages Lebaiskari and Kistani, the last one includes some hike also. Arrival to Shatili, after some walk in the village continue to abandoned graves in Ardoti, just next from border and empty village Mutso, where is possible to make lunch brake. Here is possible also horseback tour, from Shatili to Mutso, distance is 15 km one way. If time allows we will visit one more village – Ardoti, where only one family stays. Dinner and overnight in Shatili guesthouse.

Day 5 - Rafting

The last day of tour is driving from Shatili back to Tbilisi. The last adventure will be, after long drive rafting on Aragvi river. Level is easy and possible even for those who has never tried rafting before. Late afternoon arrival to Tbilisi. As option is possible to continue tour to Kakheti region.
