David Gareji Tour (1 Day)

• Tour starts with drive to David Gareja, a rock-hewn monastery complex located 60 km from Tbilisi. The complex includes hundreds of cells, churches, chapels, refectories, and living quarters hollowed out of the rock face. It was founded in the 6th century. Two of the key monasteries that are the most visited, are Lavra and, on the hill above it, Ubadno, which has beautiful frescoes.
• The tour will end by the drive back to Tbilisi.
