Drive you to Kazbegi, which is 160 km from Tbilisi. The bus will go through the Georgian Military Road, which runs between Tbilisi (Georgia) and Vladikavkaz (Russia), and is 208 km long.
On the way to Kazbegi, you will visit Ananuri fortress, situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River, and overlooking Zhinvali reservoir.
Next stop will be in Gudauri, a Georgian skiing resort, located at the altitude of 2200 meters above the sea level. The skiing season usually runs from December until April, depending on the weather.
From Gudauri you will continue your trip to Stepantsminda, from there you will have a jeep tour to Gergeti Trinity Church. The church was built in the 14th century, and provides a beautiful view of Mount Kazbek, the highest peak of Eastern Georgia (5047 meters).
Next destination on the tour is Darial Gorge, located on the border between Russia and Georgia.
