Drive you to Mtskheta, which is 20 km away from Tbilisi. In Mtskheta, a former capital city of Georgia, you will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which presently functions as the seat of the archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, and is also listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next destination will be Samtavro, the church dating back to the 11 th century.
The last stop will be at Jvari (The Cross) Monastery, located on a cliff above Mtskheta. It dates back to the 6th century, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and provides you with a beautiful view from above.
From there, the bus will take you back to your hotel in Tbilisi.
